A participatory planning workshop developed and run in collaboration with Ed Jaques. Uniting local architects together with the members of Oak Tree Cooperative Farm in Suffolk (amid the rustle of tea, biscuits and home made flapjack), a 3 hour workshop brought a participatory approach to the specifying and planning of their envisioned straw bale building. Discussing the changing needs of space use throughout the year, teams worked together to devise flexible plans to accommodate their growing venture while using a to-scale-cut-and-paste method to create early stage plans.
